It was in the royal city of Loches, near the Castel Parc de Fierbois campsite, that Charles VII was crowned King of France. Its location, architecture, medieval gardens and fine collection of armor make the Ch\u00e2teau de Loches one of the finest ch\u00e2teaux in the Loire Valley. So much so, in fact, that it often overshadows the entire heritage of this town of 6,300 inhabitants, which is irrigated by the Indre river. <\/p><\/div>
