A campsite, vineyards and wonders
Discover Anjou wines at the campsite
While you’re on vacation at the Parc de Fierbois campsite, don’t miss out on discovering the wines of Anjou. France’s third-largest vineyard is full of oenological surprises. Its winemakers will reveal all the secrets of the delicious beverages of the Loire Valley, from dry whites and sweet wines to light rosés and reds, as well as sparkling wines from troglodytic caves.

Anjou wines stand out for their exceptional diversity. On the banks of the Loire, Aubance and Layon rivers, the diversity of soils makes it possible to produce a wide range of wines. Near Angers, AOP Savennières is one of Anjou’s dry white wines, renowned for its flavor. The Layon and Aubance hillsides produce sweet to syrupy white wines, such as the delicious Bonnezeaux. As you discover the wines of Anjou, from village to village, you’ll also be able to take in all the rich heritage of the Loire Valley, as well as its magnificent landscapes.
In addition to the whites, you’ll discover the light, tasty rosés of Anjou, as well as fine red wines like Saumur Champigny. Finally, don’t miss out on what makes the Saumur vineyards so special. Explore the troglodytic cellars carved out of tuffeau, the local limestone rock. You’ll be charmed by the flavors, lightness and fine bubbles of these distinctive Anjou wines. You’ll meet winemakers who are proud to show you around their cellars, set in grandiose underground galleries. Some, like the Ackerman cellars in Saumur, even feature fabulous scenography.
