The ZooParc de Beauval is home to over 10,000 animals of 600 species from all over the world. Created in 1980 by the Delord family, the ZooParc de Beauval offers educational activities to raise children’s awareness of the need to protect animals and ecosystems in a fun way.

This zoo, which welcomes over a million visitors every year, is brimming with rare and unique species. The birth of the baby pandas in 2021 is proof of this. Visiting the baby pandas is one of the most popular activities to date at Beauval Zoo.

It’s a treat for visitors to see these adorable creatures up close. Many other newborns are born at the ZooParc every year, such as the little tamandua, an anteater from Mexico. How to get to Beauval Zoo from the campsite

The ZooParc de Beauval is located in Saint-Aignan in the Loir-et-Cher region, 70 km from the Castel Parc de Fierbois campsite in Sainte-Catherine-de-Fierbois. It’s just over an hour’s drive by freeway (A10 to Tours, A85).

Doors open daily at 9:00 am, including weekends and public holidays. The recommended visiting time is at least 5 hours, and it’s best to start early in the morning to get a better view of the animals. Closing time varies according to the season. Some areas, such as the giant pandas, the hippopotamus reserve and the tropical greenhouses, have specific opening times.
