Frequently asked questions

I have booked accommodation

  • Keys are handed over from 5pm, and departures between 7am and 10am;
  • Check-in at reception starts at 2pm. You can take advantage of our various spaces and services while waiting for your rental to become available;
  • On arrival, you will be asked to pay a €250 security deposit (credit card imprint).

I have booked a campsite

Arrival from 2pm, departure before 12am.

I’ve booked a tree house

Arrival from 4pm, departure before 11am.

How late can I get there?

  • Reception is open until 9pm throughout the season. If you arrive after 9pm, please contact us by telephone. We’ll be happy to provide you with details of key collection and pitch location.
  • Access to our pitches/rentals is no longer possible by car after 11pm.

Are sheets and blankets included in the rental price?

  • All our rentals are equipped with pillows, blankets and disposable undersheets.
  • In Premium Chalets, Premium Mobile Homes and Advantage Mobile Homes, bed linen and towels are included.
  • In all other accommodations, you’ll need to bring your own sheets and towels, or reserve them for an additional charge (sheet kit: 16€/bed, 2-towel kit 1 large + 1 small: 10€).
  • Please note that we no longer offer bed-making services.

Do all rentals have heating?

All our rentals are equipped with electric heating in the living room, except for the Cabanes dans les arbres.

Can I book two pitches side by side?

Yes, depending on availability and choice of accommodation. Please specify this when booking by telephone on 02.47.65.43.35, or on the online booking form in the “Comments” section. A supplement of €30 per rental or pitch will be charged.

Can I choose the number of my rental or pitch?

Can I rent a refrigerator?

  • All our accommodation, with the exception of cabins, is equipped with a refrigerator.
  • The Castels Suite Sanitaire Privatif and Castels premium pitches are also equipped with refrigerators.
  • In all other cases (cabins and Grand Confort pitches), you can rent 42L refrigerated lockers (located in Sanitaire 1), key available at reception, booking recommended (7€/day, deposit 20€).

Are pets allowed?

You’re always welcome to bring your four-legged friends with you, with theexception of 1ʳᵉ and 2ᵉ category dogs, provided you observe a few common-sense rules.

Before booking, we ask you to send us your pet’s up-to-date vaccination record and to agree to treat your pet for parasites (fleas, ticks, etc.).

It is now compulsory in France for your dog or cat to be identified(microchip or tattoo). We will ask you for a copy of its identification certificate so that we can return it to you if it is lost.

We ask you to pay an extra €7/day if you bring a dog or cat to one of our accommodations, and not to leave your pet alone. Pets are welcome free of charge on our campsites.

For reasons of hygiene, pets are not allowed in the aquatic area. They may be kept on a leash on the beach, provided their owners pick up their droppings so that no-one accidentally sets foot on them!

More generally, dogs are welcome anywhere in the park (including the restaurant and bar), as long as they are kept on a leash.

As long as you’re walking in the woods at a safe distance from other guests, you’re free to let your pet go if you feel this is compatible with its safety.

Are shorts and boxer shorts allowed in the pool?

Swimwear is recommended in swimming pools.

 

Are barbecues allowed? If so, what type? Gas, electric, charcoal?

  • Yes, barbecues (charcoal or gas) are accepted except where the risk of fire is too great (risk defined by prefectural decree).
  • Individual charcoal barbecues are included in the rental of Premium Chalets, Premium Mobile Homes and Gîtes (charcoal not included).
  • A collective charcoal barbecue is also available for Canadian lodges.
  • Charcoal barbecues (charcoal not included) are available for hire at all other accommodation (€7 per day).

Is there internet or wifi access at the campsite?

Free WiFi access is available throughout the campsite.

Are minors allowed?

Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

 

Are you VACAF approved?

No, we are not VACAF approved.

Do you accept ANCV vacation vouchers?

  • Yes, Chèques Vacances ANCV and ANCV Connect are accepted. You can send them to the following address:

How do I book a stay?

  • By Internet: Choose your accommodation and dates of stay, then make your secure deposit payment by credit card or cheque.
  • By phone 02.47.65.43.35, don’t forget to bring your credit card, a deposit will be required.

When and how do I pay the balance of my stay?

  • It must be paid no later than 30 days before the date of arrival, and is not deducted automatically.
  • If you have booked online, you will receive an email inviting you to pay the balance online.
  • If you have not booked online, you will need to send us a cheque or give us your credit card number by telephone.

Do you offer cancellation insurance?

  • We suggest that you take out Campez couvert cancellation insurance as soon as you book. It is valid for all persons declared on the booking contract, after which it will be too late!…
  • Without insurance, the sums paid will be retained by the campsite.
  • Cancellation insurance costs 3% of the total cost of the stay.
