The Loire Valley: an area of great natural and cultural wealth
Have you ever heard of the Loire Valley ? This vast area bordering France’s longest river stretches from Nantes to the Loire Valley, passing through the Anjou region and towns such as Chinon and Tours, where our campsite is located. You’ll be able to enjoy the local way of life and take part in water sports such as canoeing, as well as horse-riding, walking and cycling.

Discover the Loire Valley easily with the Loire à Vélo cycle route
During their stay, both novice and experienced cyclists, and more generally all cycling enthusiasts, will enjoy cycling along EuroVélo 6. This is one of Europe’s most popular cycle routes, stretching from the Atlantic to the Black Sea. From Saint Brévin les Pins to Nevers, the cycle route covers more than 630 kilometres of the Royal Valley. The section along the Loire, known as La Loire by bike, is designed to accommodate all types of cyclists, thanks to its gentle gradient and safe environment. The cycle route is accessible to as many people as possible: you can reach it thanks to the local train service, which has bicycle spaces in its carriages. You’ll have access to a range of routes that will allow you to discover the natural and cultural beauty of the Loire Valley region.
Cycle tourism in the Loire Valley, a unique heritage to discover
